I was working at a wedding for Blushbooth on Saturday the 24th May 2014. The wedding celebration was held in Airth Castle Hotel and Spa, Stirlingshire, 45 Minute drive from Edinburgh, in the Falkirk area in Scotland.
The Airth Castle hotel and spa was easy to find without my Satnav, as the castle is a tourist attraction there was a number of motorway signs on directions.
The history of the castle dates back to the 14th century! Such a beautiful location as its surrounded by a lot of green land.
Have a look at the reviews on Trip Advisor. Congratulations to the bride and Groom! I had a few charming guests that wanted a selfie with me đ

Hello lovelies!!
I had two days off from H&M so had the chance to work with Blushbooth this May bank holiday weekend. I was an events assistant for a 21st in Glasgow then the following day a wedding ceremony in Edinburgh đ
On Friday the 2nd I was working on a two hour booth hire at The Berkeley Suite, Glasgow for Beth’s 21st. This venue space was a bar then turned into a club more later in the evening.
The staff were extremely friendly with me. The charming Irish manager even helped me bring through the equipment. James Anderson had mentioned he has been in Scotland for 15 years now and got a qualification in photography. James does the official photography for the http://www.berkeleysuite.com/ website.
The birthday girls’ family brought in extra props with them, which clients had more to work with.
Happy birthday Beth! Hope you had an amazing birthday!!!
On Saturday the 3rd I was working at the amazing venue of Dynamic Earth! This venue has to be one of my favourite locations in Edinburgh! (Previously blog  A New Begging).
The wedding celebration was set up on Ozone level 3, Â Blushbooth had its own private room. I loved this idea! The room was set up with ‘The classy and fabulous backdrop‘, vintage prop table and guest book for guests to stick one of the two photos and write a message for the Newly weds.
Congratulations Alison and James! I hope you guys have a beautiful future together!

Hi Beautiful people! Nearly finished with my last submission before I can be free for the summer!!
I have far too many blogs to catch up on! a) Need to-do a thorough evaluation of the Fashion Clinique Hawes and Curtis Fashion show from the 1st of April! b) I also need to do further research from the contacts I made from the Edinburgh International Wedding Exhibition. c) AND I also want to give you guys a brief update on my up coming projects! Exciting and busy times a head đ
I was representing Blushbooth at The Dynamic Earth New Beginnings launch event! The event was on the evening of the 31st of March, Yes a day before the Hawes and Curtis Fashion show!
I was working at my new role in customer service at the Fashion based retailer H&M from 8am then at the launch event straight after! Yes I am such a busy bee but I do have a strong work ethic, as my favourite HNC Events lecturer once said, âEvents Management is not a normal 9-5 jobâ. Plus I love working for Blushbooth, I get the opportunity to help Blushbooth customers and network with the venue and event coordinators.
The launch was to showcase the âA new beginning: Scotlandâs Time Lordâ feature in Dynamic Earth. The launch event created a lot of publicity for Dynamic Earth as the new gallery was one of the 5 major natural heritage projects from the Heritage Lottery Fund.
The ÂŁ622,800 Heritage Lottery Fund provided an exclusive launch, which was an invite only event, where clients were sent an invitation to visit the science centre. Dynamic Earth is known to be one of Edinburghâs visitor attractions. The Dynamic Earth website states;
“The location is part funded by the Millennium Commission Dynamic Earth tells the story of planet Earth and how our Earth works, how life has evolved on its differing environments and the future challenges faced by planet Earth.”
A spokes person from the event:
“We hope the new galleries will teach people about Edinburghâs major contribution to discovering how the Earth works, while also demonstrating â and commemorating â the importance of Scotlandâs intellectual heritage.â
The staff at Dynamic Earth were very approachable and really friendly! The marketing assistant Emma Dawson who a number of times ensured I was refreshed and taken care of. Emma has been extremely helpful and given me permission to use the official press photos which I can use on my blog.
I also spoke to Sarah the social media volunteer at Dynamic earth. Sarah is also the official blogger for Dynamic Earth and posts stories from behind the scenes.
Such a fun Event! Nearly all attendees took photos in the Booth! and loved the props!
