Hi Beautiful people! Nearly finished with my last submission before I can be free for the summer!!
I have far too many blogs to catch up on! a) Need to-do a thorough evaluation of the Fashion Clinique Hawes and Curtis Fashion show from the 1st of April! b) I also need to do further research from the contacts I made from the Edinburgh International Wedding Exhibition. c) AND I also want to give you guys a brief update on my up coming projects! Exciting and busy times a head 🙂
I was representing Blushbooth at The Dynamic Earth New Beginnings launch event! The event was on the evening of the 31st of March, Yes a day before the Hawes and Curtis Fashion show!
I was working at my new role in customer service at the Fashion based retailer H&M from 8am then at the launch event straight after! Yes I am such a busy bee but I do have a strong work ethic, as my favourite HNC Events lecturer once said, “Events Management is not a normal 9-5 job”. Plus I love working for Blushbooth, I get the opportunity to help Blushbooth customers and network with the venue and event coordinators.
The launch was to showcase the ‘A new beginning: Scotland’s Time Lord’ feature in Dynamic Earth. The launch event created a lot of publicity for Dynamic Earth as the new gallery was one of the 5 major natural heritage projects from the Heritage Lottery Fund.
The £622,800 Heritage Lottery Fund provided an exclusive launch, which was an invite only event, where clients were sent an invitation to visit the science centre. Dynamic Earth is known to be one of Edinburgh’s visitor attractions. The Dynamic Earth website states;
“The location is part funded by the Millennium Commission Dynamic Earth tells the story of planet Earth and how our Earth works, how life has evolved on its differing environments and the future challenges faced by planet Earth.”
A spokes person from the event:
“We hope the new galleries will teach people about Edinburgh’s major contribution to discovering how the Earth works, while also demonstrating – and commemorating – the importance of Scotland’s intellectual heritage.”
The staff at Dynamic Earth were very approachable and really friendly! The marketing assistant Emma Dawson who a number of times ensured I was refreshed and taken care of. Emma has been extremely helpful and given me permission to use the official press photos which I can use on my blog.
I also spoke to Sarah the social media volunteer at Dynamic earth. Sarah is also the official blogger for Dynamic Earth and posts stories from behind the scenes.
Such a fun Event! Nearly all attendees took photos in the Booth! and loved the props!
