Hey beautiful readers! 😀 Had my first shift with Blushbooth yesterday! Helped with a booth for a wedding ceremony. As this was my first shift another member of the events team Blair was assisting me.

The venue was at Balbirnie House, Fife. Which is a 60 minute journey from my home town Edinburgh. This award-winning 4 red star small luxury hotel is recognised as one of the finest wedding venues in Britain.

Balbirnie is a small luxury country house hotel (Grade A listed Georgian mansion, built 1777), situated within 400 acres of beautiful parkland, by the village of Markinch in the heart of Fife. Balbirnie (2014)

The elegant hotel and wedding venue won the award for overall “Scottish Wedding Hotel of The Year” at The 2013 Scottish Hotel of the Year Awards (held 28 April 2013), which are the equivalent of The Oscars for the events, hospitality and catering industry. This is Balbirnie House 7th award in the last 9 years.

I was assisting during the 3 hour hire booth. Blushbooth provide a service which include a guest book where attendees can stick one of the two photos and leave a personal comment. The guests loved this idea and nearly anyone that came into the booth would say ‘Hashtag Selfie’.
