Happy 10 year anniversary to the Scottish Asian business awards!
I was invited along as well as covering social media for Scottish Asian magazine! (Find live tweets from the event @ScotAsianMag #Saba) Congratulations to everyone that was nominated and big congratulations to the winners! So proud to be Scottish Asian and see much talent in Scotland (winner listed below).
Outfit of the day
What do you wear to a black tie Scottish Asian event? Is there a rule book? Cause I have no idea! I kept my look safe as possible by wearing this beautiful black saree. Anyone that wears a saree will understand the struggle for finding a blouse that fits! Mum recently went to Bangladesh and bought back a number of blouses in different colours! Yay mum!
I loved this look! So elegant, not much needed to the face – just a little highlight. And curled to the side.
The event starts at 6:30 but working until 3:30 and living in Edinburgh means we got caught stuck in traffic! Nightmare! We missed the drinks on arrival but made it to dinner and the awards ceremony!I met so many lovely people! Someone even recognised me from #100DaysofaScottishAsianBride and the most nicest person Sam the owner of Oceanic Hair & Beauty follows my work! So incredible!
Thank you to my beautiful cousin for coming with me! My partner in crime tehehe. Dream to Inspire ❤ ❤
