Part 2 of 3 from the Edinburgh International Fashion festival
During one of the evening from Edinburgh International Fashion Festival I went along to the Topshop: Fashion forum. Sherri a blogger from foreveryoursBetty posted invitations to attend the fashion forum. Like The Scottish Fashion Network the tickets were an on-line format which is environmentally friendly. Great use of keeping the event sustainable.
The evening was held at Topshop in Edinburgh’s busy High street after store hours. The Topshop fashion forum had a panel of fashion influences for a question and answer time.
- Lauren Galloway the Topshop personal shopper (my new instagram buddy)
- Sheri one of Scotland’s most recognised bloggers and an entrepreneur from ForeveryoursBetty
- Wendy Gilmore a blogger and stylist from Thank Fifi
- Sarah Frazer founder of Project Take10 a blogger from We shop Therefore we are.
We were welcomed into Topshop and were given postcards to write our details on to enter a competition. There was slight queue for drinks and warm cakes. I was a little disappointed as there was no non-alcoholic drinks available, not even water especially on such a warm summers day.
Within this interaction evening the host and the audience got the chance to talk and ask the panel a number of fashion based questions. Great marketing tool as the high street brand Topshop was highlighted thoroughly throughout the evening.
The panels
Lauren the head personal shopper in Topshop Edinburgh said she thinks a flattering jumpsuit is her new LBD (Little Black Dress). She expresses that crop tops should only be acceptable if you wear it with a high waisted skirt/trouser. I 100% agree Lauren 😉
Sherri a very iconic blogger advised the girls in the audience that wearing matching underwear gives females a instant boost of confidence. Her style is inspire by cartoon characters such as the Power puff girls. Loving her unique stand out from the crowd image Sherri has!
Wendy’s a perfectionist as a fashion blogger, favourite fashion must-haves is bags and shoes. With Wendy’s model-like frame she can pull anything off 😉
Sarah a digital marketer and stylist, favourite piece of clothing is a leather jacket! Goes with any look! Like myself Sarah is a bargain hunter and always looks for a style worth the money!

‘cigarette trousers’ that are in at the moment 🙂 In two minds about these trousers do you think petite girls would suit this look?
I was glad to see Ben – DJ prospect from my Glory blog, providing the music and promoting a new fun R&B club in Edinburgh, Fredrick street.
It was great seeing fellow fashion lovers at the event 🙂
