#100DaysofaScottishAsianBride [Day 33]
29/10/15 Forward planning
One of the greatest things I picked up from studying events is forward planning and organising my work load.
As I have a bigger than average family, bridal party and wedding party I need to be organised with planning the mehndi and wedding. This includes cost and breakdown on what we need to do per month, (keep an eye out of budget planning article in the Scottish Asian Wedding and lifestyle directory this Spring 2017)
Everyone asks me how I manage to balance my full time job, my freelance social media job, blogging life, family life and social life. I picked this trade up years ago when I was studying at Stevenson college, Edinburgh – to keep a day a side for a PJ day. Sounds lazy but in the longer run its actually worth it, as I can switch off from work/education and never feel like I’ve missed out on key family or friends moments.
Every Sunday was my wedding planning, which then became dance practice day. Its great being a bridezilla 😛
Here is how I broke down my budget and how I forward planned what to concentrate on per month
