I went along to the Edinburgh College of Art Degree show 2014 on the 28th May 2014. I went with the all beautiful queen Eshiva herself ;). I have worked along side Eshiva on a number of occasions – Edinburgh Metropolitan Fashion Show 2014 and the Peppy Miller Fashion Show.
The degree show is an annual exhibition for graduate Fashion, Performance costume, Textiles, Interior Design, Product Design, Glass, Graphic Design, Illustration, Jewellery & Silversmithing and Art Space & Nature students.
The exhibition was held at the ECA Evolution House Building. I have worked at the Edinburgh College of Art Evolution House before as an events assistant during the Edinburgh Film Festival 2013 for the Film Premier I Am Breathing. An old Boots the Chemist colleague Duncan Cowles asked if I could help at this event. Duncan is currently the Production and Marketing Assistant at the Scottish Documentary and a feature documentary submission viewer at the Edinburgh International Film Festival 2014! Duncan is one director to watch! Only at the age of 23 has produced a number of short documentary’s that have been selected in a number of Film Festivals. http://www.duncancowles.com/
Evolution House building is so big and beautiful! Perfect for creative art students!
It was great seeing a mutual friend at the showcase, Jerrie’s work is beautiful! Her pieces are detailed to perfection!
So impressed by the talent from Edinburgh College of Art students!!
