Asian weddings

Hey my beautiful readers. Hope you had a lovely weekend. Last weekend of 2013 and what better way to spend it than with family. 🙂

I attended a family friends wedding ceremony’s this weekend. This was an Bangladeshi traditional wedding celebration.

On Friday the 27th December 2013 I attended the Mehndi party for close friends and family. The Mehndi night had food, a DJ, dance performance from a family member, a belly dancer, video camera, photographer and henna artist for the brides mehndi design. The venue for the celebration was in a local church in Morningside, Edinburgh.

The Mehndi ceremony is defined as one of the most important and fun filled pre-wedding ceremonies.

The wedding was on the 29th December at the Hilton Hotel, Edinburgh. We had a beautiful 3 course meal. The food, decor and dj was provided by the Asian Wedding Party Services. Asian weddings are full of tradition by guests dressing up in traditional asian wear.

A wedding is the ceremony where people are united in marriage. Asian weddings are full of rich foods, colour and heavy designed clothing.
