NCPR offer an innovative and progressive approach to PR and Marketing, with us it’s personal. We work very closely with our clients and view their businesses as our own, allowing us to deliver what we feel is an unrivalled professional service with a very personal feel.

I work with a database of clients (80% from UAE Dubai and 20% from UK). How exciting! I do the social networking for clients, find media coverage, collect data and be client liaison. My big sister says ‘I’ve got myself a Kushty wee job’.

Naydene Commins the Managing Director emailed me to collaborate with a beauty event via Edinburgh Bloggers. This with where I found such an amazing job opportunity! (Get yourself connected blogbees).

Prepare for Christmas

I put out a message to the Edinburgh bloggers on our private group. As it was limited it was first come first serve bases.

I had arrange prior to have Gav Young a photographer take the images. I meet Gav during Edinburgh Charity Fashion Show! I spoke about the shows and events I’m part of. Gav was really interested! And showed true passion about his work! Glad to have him on board!

There was two events on during that evening- YUU Beauty and their sister company Sobo Boutique.

YUU Beauty – bespoke beauty and medi-spa style treatments. YUU Beauty won the title of Best Beauty salon INNA Award 2014.

Sobo Boutique – an exclusive Aveda hair and beauty salon. The newly opened salon offers art-like cut and colour techniques.

I went with my childhood friend a fellow blogger Shakira Rahman. Went for a catch up at my favourite coffee cake place Mimi’s bake house – read my review Here.

The girls at the salon were lovely! So friendly! We watched Nikki do HD Brows on a client. I have HD brows but I don’t allow my beautician to use wax as it sounds too intense for me. But Nikki talked us through the process. When she was waxing the client it actually didn’t look so bad! Thanks Nikki I have a little more confidence in brow waxing!

Sobo was crazy busy! So much hair styling, make-up services and beauty treatments going on. Very upbeat and everyone was mingling. Managed to finally meet the lovely Maria the senior accounts director from NCPR! Can’t wait to work on projects with her.
